Also, I have not decided wheater to get gravel or sand and so if you are going to suggest bottom dwelling fish, please also have a second option in case I get gravel.

School of cory cats sand , bristlenose pleco gravel. Both come in albino if you want something more unique. I'm a fan of mollies, and you can get them in a variety of colors and fin styles. Maybe a powder blue gourami, they're cute?

I'm planning a new 30 gallon planted tank. So far what I've been thinking for stocking is 6 sunburst platys, 8 harlequin rasbora, 2 African dwarf frogs and 6 otos. I mean what I have right now in my 29gal is Cherry barbs look great, especially with live plants.

No long finned fish with them though. Ember tetras and harlequin rasboras are a good alternative and less nippy. A school ofcorys would be cool with sand, and maybe a dwarf gourami as a centerpiece? I think that would be a cool tank! Use of this site constitutes acceptance of our User Agreement and Privacy Policy. Log in or sign up in seconds. Submit a new link.
