If you are a new company and needs better rating, you have to pay them. Only the latest review will count in the company's TrustScore. Thank you very much for being there!!! You help us, customers, not to blow.
Scamadviser is the scam themselves. After that I started to dig about scamadviser. After that they ask you for money to show high ratings for your company's website. Bottom of the line, if you are an online scammer and want to steal people's money, pay for scamadviser. And for legit business and companies if your rating is low don't contact them to raise your ratings, because they will blackmail you!
As our host 1and1 runs its servers out of Germany, and the site is based in the UK like thousands of others. It annoys me that these sites can effect business with no real checks, how dare you start up something new. We actually tried to confirm some information but as they do not run proper checks they never even got in touch. How do they know how much our site is worth also.
OK was being mean with our 1 star review, but it is annoying with NO research and knowing nothing about you they can sit there are write anything they want. PLus we have no bad backlinks or bad reviews. Reply from Scamadviser Published 19 October Hi there Sally, please kindly share the website address, so we can look into this for you?
Looking at your profile, you seem to have given other credible companies 1 star. The royal mail, ebay , paypal? As with anything these days, facebook likes can be bought, websites can be hosted wherever. After checking the website on scamadvisor we realised it was bogus and that something was amiss. Came here to write a review but read some of the negative ones, really? You take it or leave it. In our case we took the result as helpful. The website offering villas in greece turned out low and behold to be less than a month old and a russian owner.
This goes against the information on the about-us page suggesting they have been a family business for 5 years and are based in athens. Anyway many thanks scamadvisor you saved our bacon. Keep up the good work. Great free service to check out those shady sites and ads on FB. Use it most weeks and rely on it. It's a free site so they show ads which can be a bit annoying but I reckon its better than a subscription service. Went to check out a site called recordsfinder.
NOT based on MY experience. I signed up for a five day trial of recordsfinder at a minimum price to try and get ownership information on some suspicious vehicles in my neighborhood. Did searches on a total of seven vehicles, two of them my own. One was up to date Three other searches listed accurate make model and vin information but no ownership information. Another said the vehicle, though registered in my state, was owned by someone in VA who has been dead for nearly three years.
And the final listing produced a name and address for an owner. The address itself had the right street but the wrong street number and it is highly likely the actual owner is now someone else.
NOT a good track record. Scam Alert AND recordsfinder. I really love Scamadviser, it's very good website. They helped me manny times. I use scamadviser for any sites I don't know. It's been reliable so far. Anything that stops me from using fake chines websites is good in my book. They are really amazing and helpful. I checked my website here and I found very important review about my website. I took their advice on a piece of home improvement I had wanted.
The same thing was available almost everywhere and they helped me pick out the cheapest and most reliable source. For that, I'm thankful. Scamadviser posted fake reviews and fake information about my website i. I did some research and found out that the two businesses were linked! Surprised these criminals are still allowed to operate. Reply from Scamadviser Published 18 May Absolute garbage. We do not charge for anything.
We don't sell anything and we certainly don't blackmail. Scammers love to do reviews in the hope discrediting scamadviser will have some benefit. But the worst bit is you are clearly drop shipping merchandise from China!!! You don't mention this on your site or the fact that most likely your branded items like 'Supreme' are fakes?!?
Neither do you mention that it will probably take months to get an order if you get it and what you will get according to reports on twitter is not genuine. This is a link to one of your deliveries originating from China.. Not the US or the UK https: There is no blackmail here.
If you are open and honest with your customers, for example putting a company name address required for UK distant selling legislation and a realistic delivery time and that certain products may not be actually genuine - we would be more than happy to re-review your site.
I will even do it myself! Ok, this answer might be biased as all my own websites tested positive and the couple of other sites I tried which I did not particularly trust came up as untrustworthy websites. So yeah, for me it did it's job! That said, I do see a few negative reviews on this page which should not be ignored either. Guess it can go either way this one! Good luck and hope you don't get scammed!
This site itself is a bad site they take little to no effort to review the site. Claiming site's are unsecure whilst they actually have a ssl certificate. Reply from Scamadviser Published 18 May We do not suggest a site is risky based on the SSL - its based on a number of factors, ownership, reviews, age etc. It is an indication - not the gospel.
Many many fakers online now so helps me to decide if to purchase. Looks like some of the reviews on here are complaining that not every site is analysed correctly..
I haven't had any issues so far and have found it more reliable than wot and google safe browsing. The site claimes a lot of good trusted Danish websites to be scam. Do NOT trust Scamadviser. Carry on for yourself. A lot of small Danish webshops you judge to be dangerous are very trusted to us Danes. Leave the judging to Trustpilot if you don't know about danes. Reply from Scamadviser Published 18 May Please can you provide some examples?
I have used this a fair bit over the Christmas period for any sites I saw advertised on Facebook after some colleagues mentioned it and that many cybercrime sites are using Facebook ads to sell fakes..More...
