Auto trader com reviews

There are lots of smart and hard working people in 7 reviews. Great team work, most of the employees are generally nice in 6 reviews. Management has no idea what a tech company and has no foresight into what the company direction should be in 4 reviews.

Dysfunctional executive team - They don't seem to work well together or even like each other in 3 reviews. You'll end up doing the lions share of the work on a regular basis while others coast in 3 reviews.

Staff turnover became increasingly high, and most were miserable in their jobs at least in my department in 3 reviews. We hear a lot about company culture. At TRADER the work day is often difficult due to changing needs but the company culture doesn't add to the stress if fact it alleviates it.

The feedback has been very positive both from the employees and their managers. Management - Do not believe the reviews that criticize management ability or knowledge.

Sit individually with any of the C-suite or the VPs, and you will find extremely bright and talented people There are challenges as with any company , but it's hard to fault the prioritization that has lead to consistent YoY growth, and doubling the company value in 5 years. Pay - Great pay. Seems to me to be on or above market average. Location - It isn't a sexy location, but it's really easy for commuting from North of the city. Market Position - It's nice to work in a multi-sided market which is already so healthy.

It makes launching products much easier Company Growth - As a product person, the thing that got me so excited was that I really felt Trader had massive growth opportunity.

Social and technology changes are going to open up huge opportunities for product people to innovate e. It still isn't perfect. Culture - Trader has what I will call an "aspirational" culture. Meaning everyone knew the existing culture needed to change. They looked at where they were, and set a goal for where they want to be. They are still early in the journey on changing the culture, but are seriously committed to doing it. This can create challenges with communication and teamwork. Agile - Double down on the agile investments.

Get the teams co-located. Reinvent - Focus Capex on reinvention and innovation of new products and revenue streams. Culture - Continue to look at culture, especially in the hiring process. Be open with candidates about where you are, but driven about where you want to be. Because of this the sky is always falling at autotrader. No chance to catch your breath and enjoy accomplishments, achievements - they keep losing people. I don't know if it is related to revenue or happiness, but there is a revolving door effect currently happening.

Take a good long look at your current practices. Things won't change until you do. Good bunch of hard working people.

Lots of bright ideas. Good market share at the moment. IT Management is closed to suggestions and like running a one man show. One of their trademarks is poor communication and they actually seem to be proud of this. Hardly any sense of direction for leading a big technology company.

IT management has poor people skills and this has transcended down to the team leads. Management likes to play politics.

They have double standards. Close the technical debt. Let the Dev teams drive innovation. Open work environment Casual attire yet professional, doesn't cost a fortune in suits to work here Fun environment, work hard and play hard, lounge area with games, foosball, etc, good for creative thought time for the employee groups Compensation is fair and increases happen yearly. Location isn't downtown but neither are most of the employees More business updates on a more regular basis. Driving is necessary for food courts.
