I'll be arriving in Copenhagen on a Saturday morning. I understand that banks in the city are usually closed on weekends, but that the airport has two bank branches where I could exchange money. Forex within the city. Also, I plan on taking the Metro from the airport to the city, so if I can't pay for my klippekort with a credit card, I'd obviously need to get some DKK at the airport Also, I read in an old forum post that some restaurants and shops will charge you a higher price if you choose to pay with a foreign credit card instead of cash.

I looked up Forex, which doesn't seem to have a bad exchange rate and their fee DKK doesn't sound too bad Most banks has ATM's in Denmark.
You will need to ask your own bank or credit card issuer what the charges will be when you withdraw money at ATM's abroad. This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity. We hope you'll join the conversation by posting to an open topic or starting a new one.
